Southeast Community College Foundation

The Southeast Community College Educational Foundation (the Foundation) supports and promotes programs and educational opportunities of Southeast Community College throughout its 15-county service area. The Foundation was established on June 17, 1975 and is a 501(c)(3) corporation organized under Nebraska and federal laws and provides scholarships and develops and extends the facilities and services of the Southeast Community College Area. The Foundation acts primarily as a fundraising organization to provide support to the College. For Fiscal Year 22-23, the Foundation provided over 3,500 scholarships at a total value of more than $2,000,000. Its primary revenue source is donations from businesses, grant funders and individuals in southeast Nebraska. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of community members in the southeast Nebraska service area. Members represent varied backgrounds, bringing strength and diversification to the Foundation. Southeast Community College Educational Foundation is registered with the IRS Department of the Treasury (EIN: 51-0168407) and is exempt from federal income tax under the provisions of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
