The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of young people.

For 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As an affiliate of the nation's largest donor-and-volunteer-supported mentoring network, BBBS Lincoln makes meaningful matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 7 through 14, in Lincoln, Nebraska. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Our evidence-based, community-centered program provides inclusive mentoring services for young people that set us apart by enabling us to impact children outside the classroom and support youth year-round.
