Volunteer: LSO Gala Auction Volunteer (2026)

Volunteers will assist with the silent auction at Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra's Orchestra annual fundraising gala on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Country Club of Lincoln. Volunteers will be assigned one or two tables, and your duties will include:

assisting your tables' guests with keeping track of their auction bidsbidding on their behalf in the auction roomkeeping track of when your guests are outbid and encouraging them to continue biddingchecking out winning bidders and delivering auction items to the winning bidders

Dinner and dessert are provided. Volunteers will eat after the silent auction ends at 8:00pm and the concert begins.

Volunteers will staff either the instrument "petting zoo", face painting stations, or a craft station at LSO's "River City Puppets" Family Concert on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Volunteers will arrive at 12:30pm to assist with activity set-up. Pre-concert activities begin at 1:00pm and end at 2:00pm when the concert begins. For the instrument "petting zoo", some knowledge of strings, trumpet/trombone, or flute is preferred. More information about the concert:

Dylan Shelton, founder of River City Puppets, has developed a brand-new production bringing symphony favorites to life with giant puppets and storytelling. Join us one hour before the concert for complimentary face painting, an instrument petting zoo, crafts, and other family activities.
