Sewing Classes for Sudanese & MENA Women

Sewing classes and financial literacy classes which are Allstate Financial Literacy Education to help women in the community build skills and confidence.

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

  • Assist teacher with classroom set up / clean up,
  • Welcome students as they walk in,
  • Watch the children of those attending the class
  • (Optional but preferred) Help with sewing instruction or support if you have sewing experience

The main focus of this volunteer role is to support the teacher during class and help provide childcare for children while their mothers attend sewing and financial literacy classes.
