We’re looking for a friendly and engaging L2L representative to host a booth at the Lincoln Public Schools Family Literacy Festival, an end-of-year celebration for families across the district.
Volunteer Role: As the L2L booth representative, you will proactively connect with families, share information about our services, and help create a welcoming, interactive experience. This is a great opportunity to engage with the community and highlight the impact of L2L.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage the L2L booth
- Proactively engage with families and provide information about L2L services (go out of your way to enthusiastically share about L2L services and talk to attendees)
- Lead or assist with a simple, fun, literacy-related activity (instruction and supplies provided!)
- Represent L2L in a positive, welcoming manner
- Logistics: Arrival/Setup Time: Between 3:30 – 4:00 PM
This free, family-friendly event brings the community together through activities, learning, and celebration. Your participation will help make it a meaningful experience for attendees and help more people in our community learn how L2L can link them with literacy!
