We are grateful for your interest in supporting the Lancaster County Super Fair where our motto is “let the good times grow.” Each year the Super Fair grows bigger and better because of volunteers like you.
- Admission Gate Ticket Scanning (Outdoors, shifts are 4 hrs. between 12pm – 9pm, occasional shade)
- Grandstand Events (Outdoors, typically 5 – 10pm, scan tickets and take turns watching the show)
- Parking (Outdoors, directing guests to open parking spots, 12-9pm, little to no shade)
- Cafe Indoors: (Food prep, fill sodas, fill orders, 4hr shifts range between 10am – 9pm)
- Cafe Outdoors: (Food prep, fill sodas, fill orders, 4hr shifts range between 10am – 9pm)
- Figure 8 Scorer: (Outdoors, Aug. 8th, evening at the Grandstand, 5-8pm)
All volunteers working at least one 4-hour shift will receive breaks in the shade, snacks as available, your choice of unlimited fountain drinks and water, a meal from a SGEC Cafe, and a Super Fair T-shirt. After working at least two shifts, as a token of our appreciation, you will receive a free parking pass to the Super Fair. (Admission is now included for the entire carload upon entering the gate with the parking pass, so bring your friends in your car and they get in free with you.)
Download the completed form and email it to our volunteer coordinator, korton@SanhillsGlobalEventCenter.org, who will schedule a brief orientation and send you a link to sign up for shifts of your choosing. You are expected to arrive on time, dress appropriately and modestly for the weather, maintain a can-do attitude, ask questions when you do not understand an assignment, and communicate immediately to your supervisor if you need a break, shade, fluids, or nutrition.
