Opportunities From: Volunteer LNK

Endless journey Hospice is now serving the Lincoln area and invites those who would like to companion our patients along their journey.

Volunteers may:

visit regularly as patient companions (generally 1, to maybe 2 hrs per week as your schedule allows)

on a case by case basis as respite volunteers in the home setting (2-4 hr blocks of time as need arises)

or in the time in the days to hours before death as Sit Beside Me volunteers (2-3 hr blocks of time as need arises) 

We also utilize “specialist” volunteers – people coming with particular skills (pet companions, Veterans,  Spanish language, hairstylists, musicians, artists, etc)

Volunteers must pass a background check and receive initial and ongoing training for their work.
