Who We Are

The mission of the Lincoln Community Playhouse is to positively transform the lives of individuals and profoundly change our community by providing the finest quality theatre experience in both process and production. A theatre tradition since 1946, Lincoln Community Playhouse has served the community of Lincoln for almost 80 years.

What We Do

LCP provides:

  • Mainstage season shows that include musicals, plays, dramas, comedies.
  • The Penguin Project is celebrating 10 years at LCP. This production is for youth with special needs paired with peer mentors.
  • Title I School Performances with elementary school students attending a production for free and receiving a free book that is based on the show.
  • The Greasers singing group and RadioActive Players senior acting troupe, providing opportunities for those 55 years and older.
  • Theatre Arts Academy summer camps introducing theatre and acting for ages 9-13.
  • LCP contracts over 100 local artists, directors, designers, and musicians in a season.
