LSO is joined by exhilarating percussionist Britton-René Collins performing Gabriella Ortiz’s Concierto Candela, which features the soloist on everything from marimba, bongos, and congas to traditional Aztec and Mexican instruments. After intermission, LSO dials up the emotion with Tchaikovsky’s passionate Symphony No. 6 (Pathétique).
