Welcome to the Star City Pride Events volunteer sign-up! We are a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that plans Lincoln's LGBTQIA2S+ Pride events. We rely on our volunteers to put on the yearly Pride Parade and Festival!
This year's Pride Festival will take place in two places and two times:
- The first day of the festival will take place at Wood's Park on Friday, June 12th from 4:00-10:00 PM.
- The second day of the festival will be outside Das Haus on 17th St. between O St. & P St. on Saturday, June 13th from 1:00-11:00 PM.
- Our Pride Parade will be happening on the morning of Saturday, June 14th around the Nebraska State Capitol.
After you complete your volunteer shift, you'll receive a free one-day ticket to attend the Pride Festival on Saturday, PLUS you get a free volunteer t-shirt!
We encourage folks attending to take care of themselves first. Please dress in cooler clothing as this is an outdoor event, we encourage bringing hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, etc. If you are not feeling well, please mask up or stay home if you're feeling sick.
