The Asian Community & Cultural Center (ACCC) has proudly supported immigrants and refugees in Lincoln for over 33 years, helping newcomers establish their homes here. As part of our mission, we strive to share the beauty and richness of Asian cultures with the community at large.
The Afghan Community Women's Group is a collective of women from diverse backgrounds, primarily middle-aged homemakers, who come together to support one another and celebrate their rich cultural heritage. We are organizing a special celebration to honor this important occasion and bring the community together. We are seeking up to 4 volunteers (preferably female) to help make this event a success.
Volunteer responsibilities include:

Set-Up: Help arrange the event space, decorations, and seating.
Check-In: Welcome guests, assist with registration, and collect the entrance fee.

Food Distribution: Serve traditional Afghan dishes to guests.

Clean-Up: Assist with cleaning up after the event.
