Cooking classes and other topics are from Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) & Community Breastfeeding Education (CBE) grants to support women in community health, wellness, and supporting and developing breastfeeding skills.
- Assist teacher with classroom set up / clean up,
- Welcome students as they walk in,
- Watch the children of those attending the class
The primary focus of this volunteer position is to provide childcare for Sudanese youth while their mothers attend a cooking and nutrition class, and tune into a variety of educational presentations.
