If you are passionate about combatting sex trafficking, join us on Friday, April 26th to deepen your knowledge and response capabilities by learning about the scope of the issue, identification strategies, and survivor-centered care.
This conference will be held in-person at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center and online via Zoom, and will consist of a keynote speaker, a panel discussion, and lunch.
The keynote speaker is incredibly special: Theresa Flores. Hear about her heart retching, shocking, and gripping true story of an all-American teenager who survived two years of being a sex slave while living at home in an upper middle class Michigan suburb. Out of shame, guilt, and fear of what would happen to the rest of her family, Theresa stayed silent. Now, she speaks out on the reality of how this is a silent epidemic across U.S. inner cities to upper class neighborhoods.
In-person registration is $20 and includes lunch. Online registration is $10. Both registrations are donations to I've Got A Name, a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to end sex trafficking in Nebraska.
For those attending in person, check in will begin at 9:00 AM.
